Socialize in class at this summer’s Riverfront Park Fashion Show

For the past seven years, the Riverfront Fashion Series has brought Denver some of the most cutting edge apparel, delectable cuisine from the finest local restaurants, and refreshing signature cocktails, making it one of the most highly anticipated events of the year.

This summer’s event is no exception. On August 13th, 1,400 of Denver’s elite will congregate at the base of the Millennium Bridge to watch one of Denver’s biggest fashion performances, with proceeds benefiting the Denver Health Foundation.

William Rast, co-founded by Justin Timberlake, will be debuting their 2011 Sportswear collection. The line is described as a combination of tomboy chic, while maintaining a girlish sensuality. Ever, a luxury travel collection for both men and women, will be showcasing their Fall 2011 collection. Both designers will be hosted by Blush, a notable upscale boutique in the heart of Denver.

The fashion doesn’t stop there. Chris Benz, a highly acclaimed versatile designer, will be not only premiering their Fall 2011 collection, but also presenting fashions from the Resort 2012 line. Lawrence Covell, a Colorado-based high-end clothing shop featuring styles from around the world, will be sponsoring Chris Benz as Riverfront Park frames his designs.

Although all of the Riverfront Park Fashion Shows of previous years have been extremely engaging, this year, a new element will add to the entertainment. Before each runway show, spectators will get a preview of the collection in “Designer’s Dance Review,” a choreographed routine reflecting the mood, feel, and inspiration of each collection.

A variety of food will be provided by Table 6, Fogo de Chao, Zengo, and Happy Cakes. A variety of cocktails will be served in collaboration with major liquor brands such as Stoli Vodka, Milagro Tequila, Balistreri Wine, Viru Beer, and Hendrick’s Gin. Other supporters include Mini Bar, Jet Hotel, and Vitamin Water.
